First Congregational Church of San Jose, where children are welcome!

Children are a priority at First Congregational Church of San Jose. We honor the children among us as a valuable part of our faith community, and design our educational programs to tap into their natural creativity and spirituality. Our Christian Education commitment is to create opportunities for our children's faith development and understanding of God as Love, and Love as God.

Please join us! Worship and church school are from 10:00–11:15 every Sunday:

• Nursery and 2-year-olds; 3-4-year-olds
• Church School for K-4th grade
• Movie- and discussion-based curriculum for 5th-8th graders

Heifer Fundraising

The children were avid readers and collected change in their ark banks to raise over $3000 for their annual support of the Heifer Project. At $150 a llama, the children raised enough money for 20 llamas. Way to go, kids!

Summertime Church School Offering

The children will be donating their summertime offering to Pennies for Peace. Pennies for Peace is an organization that raises money to build schools and school furniture.
